When do we proceed with extraction?
Our priority is always to save your natural tooth. However, sometimes extraction (removal) is the only possible solution to prevent the spread of infection and relieve pain.
Whether it’s wisdom teeth or damaged roots, at Karlin Dent we perform procedures in such a way that tissue damage is minimized and healing is rapid.

What do we perform in terms of surgery?
Wisdom teeth
Preventive and acute removal of wisdom teeth that do not fit in the jaw or cause inflammation.
Damaged teeth
Extraction of teeth that are broken, cracked, or so decayed that they cannot be saved.
Gums and bone preparation
Tongue tie correction, treatment of inflammation (incision), and gentle preparation of the bed for future implant placement.
The course of surgical intervention
Diagnostics (X-ray)
We do not extract teeth without an X-ray or 3D CBCT scan. We need to see the exact position of the roots in relation to the nerves.
Anesthesia
We apply a strong local anesthetic. We do not begin until you feel completely numb.
Gentle extraction
Loosen and remove the tooth. In the case of complicated wisdom teeth, split the tooth so that it can be removed more easily and without prying.
Wound care
We clean the wound and, if necessary, suture it with absorbable stitches for faster healing.
